| W.I.R.E.S. was established in 1985 as a non-profit corporation, for the purpose of having an independent organization own and manage the 147.135+ MHz (88.5 Hz CTCSS) repeater in Tippecanoe County, free from any whimsical influence and the shifting changes in politics of any local club. This has helped maintain the stability and dependability of the region’s most active and reliable repeater system. | ||||||||
The W.I.R.E.S. repeater system (147.135+ MHz, 88.5 Hz CTCSS) is operated and maintained solely by the contributions of its users. We greatly appreciate the diligence of those of you who make annual donations, keeping the region’s most popular and widest-area coverage repeater on the air. |
